What is so special about Pandora Jewelry? You may have heard this question asked before and it a valid question. The first time I was introduced to Pandora I knew nothing of the price, just the pretty charms caught my eye and still do. First in case there is anyone reading not familiar with Pandora let me explain real quick...its basically a fancy and rather pricey charm bracelet. Yes they do cover more than just bracelets but that's the main item they are known for. Now why are they so expensive? well one you are in fact paying for the name that's true, but you are also paying for real gold and silver in many cases. You start off with a plain bracelet with maybe a bead or a few beads on it. Eventually you collect more charms and beads for your bracelet. Since the beads cost so much just a bead or two is already a great gift at birthdays, Christmas or any special occasion. I rather like the idea of the whole charm bracelet.
But Pandora is not the only company out there known for their charms, TrollBeads and Chamillia are two others that have a similar style.
While many women love the look of Pandora and other jewelry like it, some complain that the charms can get rather heavy, others are not too kin on their prices. I honestly can see it from both points of view. But lets just say you don't want to pay that much but you still like the look, what other options are out there?
Well first let me say I found plenty of cheap charms but most of them didn't even come close to the beauty of the name brands. However I found a few after digging a while. Here are some.

Also I like to check out Etsy.com. Listia.com amazon.com and ebay.com You can save a lot if you are willing to take the time to look. If you know of other great charms or how to save on charms please feel free to send me your comments and I will pass them on
Now my personal take? I'm a fan of pretty things that mean something, I'm also a fan of budgeting and saving when it comes to fashion. I'm perfectly ok with mixing a name brand with a knock off so long as one the seller is not trying to sell their product as the real thing, two the item looks good and blends nicely and three it is durable and going to last. There is no point in buying cheap fashion if it wont last otherwise you are wasting money and should have bought the real thing to start with.
